or debris left after a disaster, follow the handler?s directions at a distance, investigate where a human
cannot go and locate living victims who otherwise might not be found.

dog can follow the specific path of
someone who passed by several days earlier, discriminate between it and another?s trail and follow it through
urban areas, or over hills, marshland and other terrain.
