Our
mission is to provide, as a public service, trained dogs, handlers and support personnel for search and rescue
or recovery of lost or missing persons and to promote public education regarding the use of canines in this
capacity.
Our
veteran members have been involved in search and rescue since 1999, bringing a wealth of experience to our
organization. Several of these trail blazers are presently working with their 2nd certified dog.
K-9
One’s Mission Ready teams are certified in air scent, disaster response, trailing and human remains detection.
Our Missing Person Response Unit is experienced in search techniques and management in wilderness search, urban
response and in land and water cadaver detection.
We
respond to missing person emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
There
is never any charge for our volunteer service.
