We’d like to introduce you to the members of K-9 ONE.

Miro Faouzi and Emma

Miro completed his Field Support Specialist certification last year and now he and Emma are working toward their certification in Human Remains Detection.

Dawn Hilliker and Sam

Dawn has been involved in SAR for years and is one of our veteran members.  She and Sam are part of our Missing Persons Response Team, Area Search Unit.

Pat Lamson and Tucker

Involved since 2006, Pat and Tucker serve our Missing Persons Response Team as Human Remain Detection Specialists

Isabella

Isabella pioneered our junior member program serving as victim, communications, support and scent theory expert.

Kay Rice and Jazz

Kay and Jazz have been doing disaster work since 2002 and together they head up our USAR division.

Suzanne Ramos and Gila

Suz and Gila bring years of experience to K-9 ONE and serve our Missing Persons Response Team, in the Area Search division.

 

Craig Veldheer and Berg

Craig, already a Field Support Specialist, is working with his K-9 partner Berg toward certification and as a USAR specialist

Kim Veldheer, Pepsi and Tigger

Kim currently serves the team as a Field Support Specialist, as she continues to progress her dog Pepsi toward USAR certification and her other Lab, Tigger toward mission ready status as an area search dog.

Kayla serves as one of our Junior members quite often sacrificing prime teenager time to assist wherever there’s a need.

Missing Persons Response Team

Jill Holdstck

Jill came on board as an associate member, helping our with our training whenever possible.  She works in the medical field and owns a standard poodle named Winston whom she hopes to enroll in our area search program.

Kim Karr

Kim recently joined K-9 ONE as an associate member to assist us with our field communications.  Kim is the deputy director of the Kent County RACES team and brings a wealth of IT and com-munications knowledge to the group.

Rebecca Dence

Rebecca is our newest member and is anxious to get up and running.  She is the process of completing her field support certification and hopes to enroll a K-9 as the next step.
